Face it Rams! Post Katrina, there are many in New Orleans politics who'd just as soon see Carver High closed. As a matter of fact, Carvers' principal, Dr. Vanessa Eugene is fighting tooth & nail against proposals to absorb and/or rename Carver. There's even a plan to convert it into a military academy.
If Carver is to be saved, then its future is in "your" hands and all graduates of that wonderful & historic institution.
Carverites are far flung throughout the 50 states and abroad. Thanks be to God, we now have technologies that close the distance gap between us.
Through this website we're able to come together and create strategies to help Dr. Eugene, her staff and the student body in building a reputation of excellence so great, the very mention of shuttering Carver will result in a rebuke. Joseph S. Clark faced a similar battle and won because the "Bull Dogs" rallied. If a Bull Dog can accomplish such a task, just think of what a Carver Ram can do. Remember, Carver Rams are Forever!
