On Thursday, May 15th Hornblower Cruises & Events will present the 8th annual Pet Rescue Day on the Bay event to benefit the Helen Woodward Animal Center. By donating a new or gently used blanket or towel, a dog and its owner cruise FREE on any one-hour harbor cruise on a Hornblower yacht on the 17th. Items will be collected from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and donated to the animal center. Last year Hornblower Cruises & Events collected thousands of blankets and towels and had over 500 people and their pets come down to support the Helen Woodward Animal Center.
The Pet Rescue Day on the Bay is open to anyone, simply bring a donation of a new or gently used blanket or towel for the animals and in return you will receive a free ticket for a one-hour harbor cruise to use any time. Dogs Cruise FREE on Pet Rescue Day! If you bring your dog on a leash, it can ride along on a one-hour cruise on May 15th cruises only.

This is a very fun family event, and I encourage you to give it a try if you can get the day off. This will be our 3rd time cruising with our Golden Retrievers and our Golden Retriever Group. We usually take the first cruise in the morning, at 9:45am, so give it some thought, and try to join us! Your pets will LOVE it!
